Not only is it peak wedding season, with loads of your gorgeous gowns being delivered, but we are also having the fabulous time of designing and creating the 2009/10 bridal collection. Called ‘Riviera Cocktail’, Stewart has taken inspiration from Slim Arrans and Edward Quinn, two legendary photographers who captured the golden era of glamour. Their pictures of film stars, the aristocracy and society beauties give an amazing insight into the glitz and glamour world of the 1950’s and 1960’s jet-set. The collection will be unveiled at British Bridal Exhibition in Harrogate in September - sadly girls, this is only for press and stores, however, keep your eyes open as we will soon be posting the trunk show dates, where, from November, we will be showcasing the new gowns. If you can’t wait until then, The Designer Wedding Show, www.designerweddingshow.co.uk October 10th -12th will be the first occasion for prospective brides to see it. Until then, here’s a sneak preview of some of the new designs. Couture In Cardiff - Charity Fashion Show, 22nd April 2008April 2008

March NewsMarch 2008 It has been an exciting week at Stewart Parvin - firstly with the state visit of the French President and his glamorous new wife. With the eyes of the world on the state banquet at Windsor Castle, HM The Queen chose to wear her favourite white beaded chiffon evening gown, of course from Stewart Parvin. The new Brides magazine was out this week with a fabulous editorial image of our current favourite Black Label gown, Atonement. In addition it was featured, with Memphis Belle and Evita from the White Label, in their Runway Report ‘Chic Black Detailing’. After a highly successful trunk Show at Ellie Sanderson this weekend, Stewart is looking forward to taking a well-deserved break from the Trunk Show season. With only two trunk shows remaining, there’s not much time to book your place for the Belfast or Knutsford dates - please go to our Trunk Shows page for more information.
