Recognising the important role that the media plays in promoting the British bridal industry, Wedding Ideas magazine joined BIS to support designers and manufacturers as well as its work for bridal retailers.

We support the work of BIS whenever and however possible, principally by sponsoring the BISCO at BBEH and also by attending meetings and taking a genuine interest in their activities and messages.

Basically, we couldn’t not be a member.

Veromia and D'Zage joined BIS because we wanted to make a difference. Everyone has the opportunity to tell the BIS committee what they feel about the industry and how it can be improved - everyone who is a member has a voice. But they need to use that voice.

BIS has a forward thinking committee, determined to improve our industry. Together we really can make a difference and we can turn our sector into an industry we will all be proud to be a part of.

I joined because I know it is an organisation looking after the industry and its future. It is another source of information, should I need it, from a professional body of people with many years of experience and knowledge that is just a phone call, or email, away.

The discounts that are available through BIS from various companies are very worthwhile and can mount up to considerable savings over the year. BIS pulls manufacturers together giving them all a loud voice to put forward ideas to allow beneficial changes to the industry.

BIS also keeps its members updated on new and up and coming changes to regulations, issues and information.

We are very keen to share information on how to better and make the UK bridal trade even more professional. There is no doubt in my mind that bridal manufacturers should listen more to what their customers need and BIS helps with this.

BIS also wants to drive out amateurs and unprofessional companies and send them packing.
